Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja celebrate Karva Chauth in London

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May this year. The couple celebrated their first Karva Chauth away from both their families in London. In fact, the actress took to her Instagram account and revealed a sneak peek of the celebration by posting a picture which showed her husband and her with identical heart-shaped henna designs on their palms. Sonam had the initials AS.

For several years now, Karva Chauth has been celebrated with a lot of pomp and fanfare in the Kapoor household. Every year Anil Kapoor’s colleagues from the industry, his family and friends gather at his house to usher in the auspicious day. However, this year, the celebrations were said to be somewhat muted. The Kapoors missed having Sonam around at home. Also, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, a regular at the festivities, was away in Sri Lanka.
